INTERPRETATION CONSULTANCY, OLD PALACE CROYDON

I conducted a workshop with stakeholders of Old Palace Croydon of the John Whitgift School to establish a clear overarching concept and supporting themes. The intention was to apply this content framework across all of the interpretation for the site, including for the 10 minute-long animated film to be shown to visitors to the venue's chapel. The ensuing overarching concept was 'Old Palace Croydon: A thousand years of people, power and prayer', encapsulating this historic palace's significant history. Three supporting themes were also established, within which the site's stories, buildings and collections could be engagingly presented.
