HANDS-ON SPACES FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR ADULTS
I have a keen interest in developing content for hands-on spaces within cultural venues. Prior to the consultancy work I describe in the case studies below, I was part of the start-up team at the Discover Story Centre in London which provides creative and immersive exhibitions to promote creative literacy for children aged one to 11. I subsequently became Executive Director at Playeum's Children's Centre for Creativity in Singapore, during which time I oversaw five successful hands-on exhibitions which focussed specifically on open-ended play. I have since developed content for hands-on galleries both within the UK and for projects in China.
