Public engagement at heritage venues
I have over 25 years of experience in engaging a wide range of audiences with heritage and culture. I began my career as an Explainer at the Science Museum and Natural History Museum, and went to work at the Victoria & Albert Museum as their Gallery Events Officer. I subsequently took on the role of Associate Director of Programmes at the ArtScience Museum, Singapore. My most recent pubic engagement consultancy projects are described on this page, and include activity planning, writing learning strategies, audience development and conducting visitor research. Many of the projects here are funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, for which I am proud to be a consultant, mentoring and monitoring applicants and grant recipients. I welcome any opportunity to help organisations to prepare their Round 1 and/or Round 2 applications to the Heritage Fund, and to provide guidance and support throughout the process. Please do contact me here if you'd like to discuss ideas for public engagement at your venue.
