ASSOCIATE FOR WE ARE IVE

I am delighted to have had the opportunity to lead on the formulation of a new Local Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP) on behalf of IVE (www.weareive.org), the aim of which is to engage children and young people with high quality arts and cultural opportunities. Taking a cross-sectoral approach, I consulted extensively with senior leaders across a range of services within North Yorkshire County Council and with relevant agencies and organisations in North Yorkshire to inform the strategic intent of the partnership. Children's and young people's voices will also help to establish and shape the group's aims. I am now coordinating a project across three schools within the same Multi-Academy Trust involving a creative practitioner working with students with special educational needs or who are currently working outside of mainstream education.
